David was born and raised in Oklahoma City and graduated form the University of Oklahoma College of Law. Following graduation, David moved to Tulsa where he practiced in the areas of family and criminal law. From there David moved back to his hometown and worked for the Oklahoma Tourism and Recreation Department, where he helped provide legal counsel to the Department and to the Tourism Commission. Since then, and for more than the last two years, David has worked with Garrett Law Office, P.C.
